SONOTE SMART EXTERNAL DESK MICROPHONE

Sonote is an external microphone for your desktop pc and laptops with other features never seen before on a microphone. The name ‘Sonote’ comes from a combination of two words, ‘Sono-’ a prefix relating to sound and ‘Note’ as in taking notes. As can be inferred from this meaning, Sonote is a device that allows you to not only use as an external microphone but also to take notes during online classes, meetings, watching lectures and etc.

The device also comes with an AI empowered app which provides the transcript summary of recorded conversations and notes. The app also provides easy organization of recordings, transcript summaries and notes which can be sorted by personal preference for instance by classes.

Ever since Covid-19, online learning has become a norm. Even after the pandemic, most teachers/professors still require online homework and classes. A lot of students have face difficulties on studying alone and rely on the internet or academies. The concept tackles the modern problems of education in an innovative way and has potential to be used in various fields. Through this device, reviewing class materials and preparing for tests will be much more convenient for students of all ages and cultures.

The device is shaped and designed in an angle to be comfortably used on the desk and write on to. The microphone holes have built in LEDs for indication of different modes while the LCD display provides a simplified version of the app to show on the screen. Finally, the two buttons is each used to save notes and mute the microphone.
